We live in an energetic world and New Science has proven that all sentient and non-sentient beings are made of energies, not matter as the Newtonian Physics has governed us to believe in school textbooks. We are all made of vibrations from the chair you sit on, your laptop in front of you, to the trees, the television and the person next to you.

Quantum Physics has profoundly revolutionised the way we view things and how some things are just incapable to be seen, measured, only felt. (I will discuss about Quantum Physics in another post!) Every vibration has its own frequency. Energy also responds and allows the flow of consciousness. Sound is one of the most powerful forms of energy in existence and it is healing too.

SO WHAT ARE SOLFEGGIO FREQUENCIES?

Historically associated with meditation music used by Gregorian monks in their meditation chants in the 11th Century, the Gregorian chants were based on the original six solfeggio frequencies (396hz – 417hz – 528hz – 639hz – 741hz – 852hz). The original scale was six ascending notes assigned to Ut-Re-Mi-Fa-Sol-La. Each solfeggio tune is based on a frequency believed to influence the subconscious and conscious mind, balance your energy and stimulate healing with the Universe. From the ancient era to modern times, music has been held to have healing properties. Music is given great significance in the Bible, in Greek mythology, and even among the Greek philosophers, like Aristotle and Plato.

The numbers 3, 6, and 9 are the fundamental root vibrations of the solfeggio frequencies.

The original frequencies were believed to be lost due to the introduction of various tuning methods from the ancient times and our current modern society. Ancient tuning practices used a system of tuning known as just intonation The technique produces a much purer sound by using pure intervals between notes that were mathematically related to small ratios. Modern society has since used a tuning method known as 12 tone equal temperament  from the 16th century till today. It is believed the introduced scale creates more fear-based, suppressed emotions and a lack of consciousness that are all energetically linked to manifest physical abnormalities or diseases to one.

By listening to these frequencies, we are opening our mind, body and soul to harmonise to the Universe’s tune.

Listening to different frequencies enhances the peeling of negative energetic blockages. They also encourage emotional release within us. Each tone has a specific healing ability to your energetic field and encourages ‘purging’ effects and it is possible to feel a bit off, before feeling the calm and peace after. But it is also common to feel the calm and peaceful state right after too. Do give it a listen as everyone reacts differently.

“if you only knew the magnificence of the 3, 6 and 9,

then you would hold a key to the universe.”— NIKOLA TESLA

  • Solfeggio frequencies, ranging from 174 Hz to 963 Hz, offer unique sound patterns that promote relaxation, stress relief, and overall well-being.
  • These frequencies have been shown to positively impact mental, emotional, and physical health by generating vibrations that help achieve a state of calm and balance.

The Science Behind Solfeggio Frequencies

The rediscovery of the ancient solfeggio frequencies set in motion a journey of exploration into the field of sound therapy. In the 1980s, biochemist Dr. Glen Reins conducted further research on sound frequencies, looking into the effect of sound waves on the human body.

Reins discovered that while some music types heal DNA, others harm it, proving the theory that sound frequencies have serious consequences for health and general wellness.

Particular sound patterns, including solfeggio frequencies, interact with your brain to generate vibrations in your body. The vibrations can have positive mental, emotional, and physical effects which may result in a state of calm, relaxation, stress relief, and even better sleep.

The Potential Benefits of Solfeggio Frequencies

Solfeggio sound frequencies have gained popularity as an effective form of sound therapy that can help improve various aspects of well-being. From meditation and relaxation to achieving deep sleep, these frequencies come with several benefits.

While it’s important to note that the research around these frequencies is ongoing, you can consider trying them if you are struggling with a particular type of negative emotion.

174 Hz

Known as the healing frequency, 174 Hz has been found to have the greatest potential effect on the physical body when compared to the other frequencies. This low frequency could alleviate pain and stress, improve concentration, and give the organs in the body a sense of security. The frequency may also relax muscles and lessen tension in the body, making it particularly beneficial for those experiencing migraines or pain in the lower back, feet, legs, and more.

285 Hz

This frequency has the potential to heal and restore tissue. It could support the immune system, balance your energy, and increase feelings of security and safety.

396 Hz

396 Hz could aid in the elimination of guilt, subconscious fears, negative beliefs, and grief, providing a sense of security. Because the frequency generates uplifting energy, it may be effective as motivational music.

417 Hz

The frequency may aid in the healing of trauma. It’s said to help clear negative energy from your body and space, as well as negative thoughts and behaviours. 417 Hz could help you find the motivation to embrace change while also promoting restful sleep.

432 Hz

Enhances tranquility and peace: The calming effect of 432 Hz music is thought to be particularly beneficial during relaxation practices. It may help soothe the mind and diminish feelings of anxiety and restlessness, creating a peaceful atmosphere

528 Hz

This is considered one of the most potent frequencies, with a higher potential impact on sleep and wellness. Also known as the ‘love frequency,’ ‘miracle tone,’ and ‘frequency of transformation,’ 528 Hz could stimulate imagination, intention, and intuition.

Moreover, the frequency has been shown to support cortisol reduction (the stress hormone), lifting your mood and putting you in a state of serenity and relaxation, all of which can improve sleep quality.

639 Hz

639 Hz may aid in achieving mental balance. It can foster harmonious relationships between loved ones and the community in which you live, plus it promotes comprehension, communication, and tolerance.

741 Hz

This frequency could help with intellectual work and problem-solving by potentially stimulating the mind, promoting creativity and self-expression, and providing mental clarity. It can also support decision-making, which can lead to a healthier and more fulfilling life.

Known as a “detoxifying frequency,” 741 Hz could be used to help those suffering from chronic pain.

852 Hz

This frequency can aid in the replacement of negative thoughts with positive ones, making it helpful for relieving nervousness or anxiety.

963 Hz

963 Hz is associated with activating your pineal gland, raising consciousness, and awakening intuition. The frequency is also believed to increase positive energy and provide clarity.
